OPAL Borders Group Volunteer

Scottish Borders

2+ hours alternate weeks

OPAL (Opportunities for Active Lives) Borders aims to support individuals over 60 yrs. old living in the Scottish Borders. To reduce social isolation and bring the community together.


As a group helper you will.

  • Engage with local older people. 
  • Help them to feel welcome within the group and wider community. 
  • Work closely with the Service Co-Ordinator in setting up and delivering a wide range of group activities.
