Young people's residential communities
Our City and Farm residential communities offer a safe and supportive living space for young people aged 16-30 who are experiencing homelessness.
Our Community ethos is that residents, volunteers and staff together form the community. We believe that community involvement and participation is crucial to promoting the health and wellbeing of all of its members, which is why our residents are involved in all decision-making at the Communities, as well as having lots of opportunities for social activities.
Our communities are staffed by a team of experienced professionals who work full-time to provide support and guidance to our residents. Our dedicated team is committed to helping our residents overcome the challenges they face and build a better future for themselves.
In addition to our full-time staff, our community also includes volunteers, who live alongside our residents. They provide valuable support and guidance to our residents, helping them to set goals and work towards achieving them.
We currently support two communities, the City and the Farm community.
The City community
The City community is based in North Edinburgh, allowing residents to find their feet at the heart of the capital. The 10-bed townhouse houses seven residents, who are supported by six live-in volunteers.

The Farm community
Based in West Lothian, surrounded by our working organic farm, our 14-bedroom farmhouse houses eight residents, supported by six live-in volunteers.
Residents have their own space in their bedrooms, and share a welcoming kitchen, social space and private garden, as well as acres of beautfiul countryside to explore. There are opportunities to join in with the farm's volunteering and learning activities, but residents have the free choice of whether and how they'd like to be involved in the farm.
