Visitor Centre Volunteer

Overview

This role sits alongside paid staff in the team and assists with the operation of a prison visitor centre, providing emotional and practical support and information to visitors.

Why we need you and what activities are involved

• Assist families during visit sessions.
• Offer support to families, by being a listening ear.
• To read, draw and play games with the children.

Hours

3 hrs 1-4pm daytime and 2.5 hrs evenings 6.30-9pm
