As a parting gift, our CEO of over a decade Ewan Aitken will abseil from the tallest distillery in the world to raise money for Cyrenians. Conquering a lifelong fear of heights, he will be descending 40 metres down the Port of Leith on the 10th of May.

To help us reach our fundraising target of £3,500 please click here to donate, to help us continue the essential work Ewan has spent so many years leading.

“This event has a special significance for me, as it will be the final fundraising challenge I take on before my time as Cyrenians CEO ends in June. After 12 years with this wonderful organisation, I can honestly say it has been the best job I have ever had. I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come together and how the organisation has grown, adapted, and continued to walk alongside those facing or experiencing homelessness.

So, for one last time, I’m asking friends, family, and supporters to get behind this very important cause. Every donation, big or small, helps Cyrenians continue their mission to ensure everyone, whatever their circumstances, has the opportunity to thrive and live a meaningful life.”

The money Ewan raises will help us work towards a preventing homelessness and supporting people through periods of housing insecurity. If you’d like to learn more about the impact your donation could help facilitate, please visit the stories section of our website to hear from our service users in their own words.
