Cyrenians receive generous donation from Snag Tights
Popular clothing brand Snag recently visited our FareShare depot in Leith bringing a generous donation of their popular fashion tights.
Available in a range of colours, styles and sizes we were able to share these amongst our Community Food Members (CFMs) across Central and South East Scotland. Although our depot primarily delivers surplus food to charities and community groups, we occasionally get donated clothes and other items that could be useful for people who may be facing difficulties in life. Donations like these are incredibly important, often providing a lifeline to someone in our local community.
Snag make clothes for everyone and we are over the moon to share these high quality products with those we support. Often, those we journey with are not offered a range of choices, with options limited or ‘one size fits all’. By supporting our work providing dignified access to food and essentials Snag have provided hundreds of people the joy of choice – and high quality new clothes too.
As we’re heading into the cooler months we are incredibly grateful for Snag’s timely donation. To find out more about Snag and their ethical tights recycling scheme visit their website: snagtights.com
