Pedal Power: Computershare Colleagues Raise Over £9,000 for Cyrenians

Colleagues from Computershare have gone the extra mile – quite literally – in support of Cyrenians, completing the first-ever Computershare Tour de Farms cycle challenge.
Covering an astonishing 565km and climbing 7,323 metres of elevation – almost the height of Mount Everest – the team cycled across three counties in just a few days. Starting in Wales, they pedalled to Gloucester before finishing in Devon, visiting all three of Computershare’s UK Charity Partner sites along the way.
The ride wasn’t just about the distance or the hills. It was about raising vital funds to help tackle homelessness and support those most in need. Thanks to the incredible effort of the cyclists and the generosity of their supporters, the event raised £9,054 for Cyrenians.
Michael Gibson from Computershare office in Edinburgh said:
“Tour de Farms was tough, but every mile mattered. Proud to have ridden for Cyrenians – raising funds, building hope, and making a real impact combatting homelessness. An unforgettable journey for a powerful cause.”
Cyrenians, a charity working to prevent and alleviate homelessness across Scotland, relies on partnerships like this to deliver life-changing services. The funds raised will go directly towards providing support, opportunities, and hope for individuals and families experiencing or at risk, of homelessness.
Diljeet Madhani, also from ComputerShare Edinburgh, added:
"Cycling such a long distance was physically painful, but I was helped by the camaraderie of the group and the focus on fundraising for Cyrenians to help them continue the incredible work of tackling homelessness at the source.Really happy to have done it as I left the event with everlasting memories and contentment of having contributed to something good."
A huge thank you goes to all the Computershare colleagues who took part and to everyone who donated. Together, they’ve shown the power of teamwork, determination, and community spirit in action.
