Farm Community
The Farm Community is a supported residential service for young people aged 16-30 who are experiencing homelessness. Based in West Lothian, the service offers accommodation within a community-led environment that combines personalised support with opportunities for participation, skill development and wellbeing.
The 14-bedroom farmhouse accommodates eight residents and is supported by experienced staff and six live-in volunteers. Residents benefit from private bedrooms alongside shared living spaces and access to extensive outdoor environments that promote wellbeing and community engagement.
Situated alongside Cyrenians' Green Skills Centre, the service offers optional opportunities to participate in volunteering and learning activities. This can support confidence-building, routine, personal development and social connection, while ensuring residents retain choice over how they engage.
The Farm Community is particularly suitable for young people who would benefit from a stable, relationship-based accommodation setting with a strong focus on participation, community and progression towards greater independence and long-term housing stability.
