Scottish Centre for Conflict Resolution (SCCR)

The Scottish Centre for Conflict Resolution (SCCR) is Cyrenians' national resource centre for conflict resolution, mediation and early intervention, with a particular focus on supporting young people and families experiencing relationship difficulties. SCCR promotes best practice through free training, workshops, events and evidence-based digital resources designed to improve understanding of conflict, emotional needs and relationship dynamics.

SCCR's resources are valuable for professionals working across education, social work, youth work, housing, health and family support services. By increasing confidence in identifying and responding to conflict, SCCR helps practitioners support families earlier, strengthen relationships and reduce the risk of problems escalating

Professionals can access free learning opportunities, practical tools and shareable resources, as well as signpost young people, parents and carers to trusted information that can help them navigate challenging situations. SCCR's work is rooted in the belief that early intervention and better understanding can transform relationships, build resilience and contribute to preventing youth homelessness.
