Linburn Walled Garden
Linburn Walled Garden is a welcoming outdoor wellbeing space in West Lothian for veterans, armed forces families and members of the local community. Through gardening, nature-based activities and peer support, the project helps people improve their wellbeing, build confidence and develop meaningful social connections.
The garden provides a safe and inclusive environment where people can spend time outdoors, meet others with shared experiences and take part in activities that support both physical and mental health. Opportunities include therapeutic gardening, wellbeing activities, skills development and community events, all delivered at a pace that suits individual needs and interests.
Set within a historic walled garden, the space includes vegetable and kitchen gardens, a sensory garden, raised beds, a pond, wildflower areas and open spaces for relaxation and group activities. Regular sessions are available for people with military connections, including dedicated opportunities for women and family-focused events throughout the year. [
Whether you're looking to improve your wellbeing, reconnect with others, learn new skills or simply enjoy spending time in nature, Linburn Walled Garden offers a friendly and supportive community where you can feel welcome and valued.
