ERA (Edinburgh Recovery Activities)

Edinburgh Recovery Activities (ERA) provides a range of weekly groups, activities and one-off events for people in active recovery from alcohol and illicit substances. Whether you have been in recovery for 24 hours or 24 years you are welcome to join us and connect with other people from the recovery community and try new fun activities in a supportive and encouraging environment.

This kind of consistent, non-judgmental support and community can be a huge part of helping people get through difficult times in their recovery. One ERA community member said,

“In my darkest moments it was ERA that helped me cope through personal contact and a range of activities. I always knew there was someone to support me when things became overwhelming.”

As well as coordinating a range of community activities, social events, creative workshops and more, ERA also run a weekly community café, open to anyone in active recovery from alcohol & illicit substances. The café offers an open, welcoming space for the recovery community.

ERA is open to anyone in active recovery from alcohol and illicit substances on a self-referral basis.

People can turn up at drop in events or get in touch on Facebook.
