Women In Safe Homes
If you are experiencing homelessness, or are at risk of homelessness because of domestic abuse, the Women in Safe Homes (WiSH) service can help you access safe, stable housing and the support needed to rebuild your life. The service was created to provide secure homes for women who may otherwise struggle to find suitable accommodation after leaving an abusive relationship.
Delivered by Cyrenians in partnership with the Women in Safe Homes Fund, WiSH offers high-quality homes alongside person-centred support tailored to your individual needs. The focus is not only on providing a place to live, but on creating a safe environment where you and your family can recover, regain confidence and plan for the future.
Support can include help with settling into your new home, accessing local services, connecting with schools and community resources, building independent living skills, and identifying opportunities for education, training and employment.
By combining safe housing with practical and emotional support, WiSH gives women the space to heal from trauma, establish stability and move forward with greater choice and control over their lives.
