Social Bite Village

The Social Bite Village is a supportive residential community in Granton, Edinburgh, designed for people who have experienced homelessness and are preparing for more independent living. Run by Cyrenians, the Village offers a safe, welcoming environment where residents can build confidence, stability and practical life skills while working towards a permanent home.

The community provides accommodation for up to 16 people in ten small houses, each shared by two residents. Alongside private living space, residents have access to a communal HUB where they can cook, eat, relax, take part in activities and connect with others in the community.

Support is available from dedicated staff and live-in volunteers who help residents explore opportunities in education, training, employment and personal interests. The focus is on creating a positive community where people feel valued, supported and able to take the next steps towards a more secure future.

The Village is also pet-friendly and provides ongoing support, peer connections and a sense of belonging for people who may have faced significant challenges in their housing journey.
