Join our award-winning chef, Noura from our Syrian Supper Clubs as she teaches you how to make some traditional Syrian treats on Saturday 25 May from 11am - 2:30pm.

From the organisation that has run regular Syrian supper clubs for many years. Come and join us for a Syrian baking masterclass with our award-winning chef Noura Selibi.

Noura will show you how to make delicious maamoul, a shortbread cookie stuffed with either date paste, chopped walnuts or pistachios and dusted with powdered sugar. Noura will also teach you how to make kunafa, a glorious confection of soft melted cheese (mascarpone & homemade curd cheese) sandwiched with shredded phyllo pastry and drizzled with rose water syrup.

A light lunch is included. 

Concession tickets

Cyrenians is committed to accessibility and offers a concession rate for those who are group booking (booking of two or more tickets in one order), children aged under 12 or unemployed, on a low income, on benefits or retired.

Location

This event will be taking place at our Flavour and Haver cook school in Leith, a short walk from Leith Walk and Pilrig Park. Accessible through Lothian Buses via Leith Walk, Great Junction Street and Bonnington Road.
