Interested in trying authentic Ugandan dishes? Come and join us for a delicious Ugandan Supper Club cooked with love by Beth and Rose, and enjoyed round the table here at our Cook School.

Inspired by recipes from home, the menu for the evening will include traditional Ugandan Pancakes, softly fried Mandazi bread and Chapati to start. Followed by a feast of Ugandan specialities, from Matooke Katogo (beef and vegetarian options), to Chicken Stew, Posho, Chipsmayai and more!

Grab a seat at the table and join us for great food and even better conversation.

About our Supper Clubs

Our much-loved Supper Clubs give you the chance to enjoy delicious, authentic dishes, in the perfect setting to meet new people and reconnect with old friends.

Here at the Flaver and Haver Cook School we believe that access to good food and the joy of eating with others should be the norm and the money raised from our Supper Club events contribute to the continued development of our community-led social eating spaces in Edinburgh.

Concession tickets

Cyrenians is committed to accessibility and offers a concession rate for children aged under 12 or those who are unemployed, on a low income, on benefits or retired. We ask that all guests under the age of 18 are accompanied by an adult.

About our events

By participating in our events you are directly supporting the work we do with people taking the first steps on their own food journeys, whether this is learning the basics of food hygiene and cooking, or receiving support via our flatpack meals services and community pantries. Thank you for choosing to participate in an event that makes a difference.

Location

This event will be taking place at our Flavour and Haver cook school in Leith, a short walk from Leith Walk and Pilrig Park. Accessible through Lothian Buses via Leith Walk, Great Junction Street and Bonnington Road.
