Solmaz Eradat returns with another of her fabulous Persian cooking classes on Saturday 25 October from 10:30am - 2pm.

In this class she will teach you how to make a delicious Ash-e-Mast (Persian yoghurt soup) which Solmaz says always takes her back to family trips to Ardabil province, to the city of Sareyn. After spending an afternoon in the hot springs everyone enjoyed this warm soup and 1 bowl was not enough. It was served all around the town in big industrial pots tended by cooks who took pride in making sure they served the best Ash in town.

Solmaz will also teach you 2 plant-based bakes: Yazidi cupcakes with cardamon and rosewater and walnut and pistachio cookies.

Once the dishes have been prepared, sit down together with your fellow attendees to enjoy what you have cooked!

Concession and child tickets

Cyrenians is committed to accessibility and offers a concession rate for those who are group booking (booking of two or more tickets in one order), children aged under 12 or unemployed, on a low income, on benefits or retired. We ask that all guests under the age of 18 are accompanied by an adult.

Location

This event will be taking place at our Flavour and Haver cook school in Leith, a short walk from Leith Walk and Pilrig Park. Accessible through Lothian Buses via Leith Walk, Great Junction Street and Bonnington Road.
