£17,154 per annum (for a 26-hour week) plus pension

About the role
This new role will contribute to the delivery our new Extended Table project, funded for 5 years by the National Lottery Community Fund.
The project is a partnership with 5 other organisations across the UK. All delivery partners will bring people together, tackle isolation and boost confidence through inclusive food projects – from growing food and cooking, to sharing healthy meals.
You will assist the Community Food Worker to organise and run community meals and cooking skills sessions, preparing the food alongside our with volunteers and trainees. You will also support volunteers and trainees to develop their skills and confidence. This is an exciting opportunity within Food Education, and you will be involved with growing our service as well as our reach beyond Edinburgh
About You
You will have some experience with assisting with group activities, ideally food and cooking related. You will enjoy cooking and be passionate about helping others to get involved. You will be outgoing and good at developing relationships with people. You will be a reliable and an effective team player with a 'can-do' attitude.
How we’ll support you
You’ll be part of a small team with an experienced and supportive manager. You will have access to wider Cyrenians support, including our learning and development programme, and staff wellbeing services.
