Spend an evening with Roly, the chef behind east PIZZAS, learning to make your own restaurant-quality sourdough pizzas and a sourdough starter of your own to take home. Friday 28th August, 6.30-8pm.

Beginning with a chat about all thing’s sourdough, you’ll learn to make (and maintain!) your own sourdough starters. You’ll then have a chance to stretch, decorate and fire your own pizza, ready to sit and enjoy round the table with a selection of side-salads provided with produce from our Fareshare depot.

This is a BYOB event, so bring a bottle if you wish, and enjoy a hands on evening making your own dinner, with expert guidance from Roly.

Allergens and Dietaries

This class is suitable for vegetarians and can be made suitable for vegans. Please email at the time of booking with any allergen or diatary requirements. We will endeavour to accomodate these, although please be advised our kitchen handles nuts so may not be suitable for those with severe allergies.

About our events

By participating in our events you are directly supporting the work we do with people taking the first steps on their own food journeys, whether this is learning the basics of food hygiene and cooking, or receiving support via our flatpack meals services and community pantries. Location

This event will be taking place at our Flavour and Haver cook school in Leith, a short walk from Leith Walk and Pilrig Park. Accessible through Lothian Buses via Leith Walk, Great Junction Street and Bonnington Road.
