Italian Masterclass with Gemma Costa
Join MasterChef The Proffesionals contestant and Scottish Street Food Award Winner Gemma Costa, in this plant-based Italian Masterclass, from 6-8.30pm on Monday 27th of April.
Gemma will share how to make their signature Neapolitan-Style gnocchi, an ancient form of pasta that predates potato gnocchi and originates from Southern Italy.
The seasonal menu for the class will include:
Spring Gnocchi – Handmade semolina gnocchi, crispy-sauteed, served with a creamy courgette sauce, fresh peas, asparagus, lemon zest, and nutritional yeast, with marinated asparagus tips.
Spring Salad – Courgette and fennal salad with raw beetroot, spring onions, and a light-tahini-lemon dressing.
And a Wild Garlic Olive Oil.
The class will highlight traditional Italian techniques, seasonal ingredients, and plant-based cooking, whilst showing how simple ingredients can create something truly special.
