Treat yourself to a relaxing pastry masterclass at the Cyrenians new Flavour and Haver cook school in Leith. Our resident Leiths’ trained pastry chef Sue O’Neill Berest will share the secrets of making the perfect shortcrust, choux and puff pastry from scratch. By the end of the day, you’ll take home a glorious savoury quiche, a showstopping millefeuille; and a mouthwatering croquembouche.
The course costs £35 and includes all ingredients. The money we raise from these classes supports the work we do with people taking the first steps on their own food journeys. This includes classes on how to cook healthily on a low budget.and discovering the joy of sitting down to share a meal with others’
