About the service

The Walled Garden is one of Cyrenians public facing services, where we support people on Community Payback Orders to put back into the community and develop their own horticultural skills.  

Set in a public space of half an acre within Dollar Park, the walled garden is valued by the local community, offering a space for events, volunteering and simply enjoying the tranquillity the garden has to offer. 

About the role

This role will complement our existing Community Gardeners to ensure that the garden can operate 7 days a week, covering our Community Payback area of work, which involves supervising a small group of adults.  You will oversee a group in the garden who will be working on various garden projects and tasks.     

About you

You’ll be a confident gardener and be able to listen and engage people in garden related projects and activities

As you’ll have the opportunity to work with a broad range of people, you’ll have strong communication skills, be approachable, with the ability to adapt to achieve shared goals.

You’ll be part of an experienced, knowledgeable team.
