Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2025

Join us for a life – changing challenge by taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon! With races for every level and beautiful scenic routes, join us as we raise money to tackle the causes and consequences of homelessness. We are offering FREE places for the Edinburgh Marathon Festival on the 24th and 25th of May 2025.

The races take a scenic route around some of Edinburgh’s most iconic locations and
beautiful views, running from the heart of Edinburgh to the picturesque East Lothian
coast. With a flat and fast route, the EMF is ideal for a first running challenge, or for more experienced runners chasing that PB.

For individual runners there are four races: 5K, 10K, half-marathon and full marathon.
The Team Relay splits the 26.2 miles into 4 manageable legs - the ideal way to take on your first manageable marathon challenge and run as a team!

We will cover the entry fee, so you can focus on fundraising and training. You’ll get:
• A Cyrenians running vest
• A medal
• Pre-race training pack
• Help with fundraising
• A team of fellow Cyrenians supporters to run with!

In exchange for a free place, we ask that you commit to fundraising £500 for the Team Relay or £150 for the 5k/10k. You'll get a Cyrenians running top and support from our fantastic Fundraising Team to enable you to reach your goals!
