Those who have experience of the criminal justice system are around 13 times more likely to be unemployed. The barriers to finding work are often not about the specifics of the crimes once committed but the deep stigma associated with involvement in the criminal justice system, especially when the public narrative about it is far more focused on retribution and punishment, rather than repairing harm and finding redemption. Cadenza Choir Spring Charity Concert

An opportunity to hear a selection from Cadenza's lighter repertoire of a cappella and accompanied part songs, and help to raise funds for Cyrenians at the same time. Classical, contemporary, folk & jazz arrangements, including familiar music, new arrangements of traditional pieces and new music for choir by composers as diverse as Monteverdi, Tallis, Gershwin, Ola Gjeilo and Whitacre.
