£23,997 pro rata, plus pension

This equates to £13,620 per annum for a 21-hour week

About the Pantries service

Cyrenians run pantries at various locations across Edinburgh and Midlothian. The pantries operate as a ‘pop up shop’ enabling people experiencing food insecurity to access a range of healthy food in a dignified and community-focused environment.

About the role

The aim of this role is to develop and deliver pantries in a range of community settings, working with a variety of partner organisations. You will be at the forefront of establishing and running pop up community pantries in Edinburgh & Midlothian to reach as many people as possible.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience of community engagement with the ability to build good working relationships. You will be self-motivated with excellent organisational and communication skills, with knowledge of the issues around food poverty.  

How we’ll support you

You’ll be joining an experienced and knowledgeable team who will give you full training on all aspects of your role. You’ll also have access to wider Cyrenians support, including our learning and development programme, and staff wellbeing services.
