"I have been given many chances here, I have sorted out my life and things are back on track now."

We create a stable and secure environment for young people
Our two Residential Communities are supported housing projects for 16 to 30 year olds. Our large house in Edinburgh and working farm in West Lothian aim to create a safe, stable and secure environment where young people can live, learn and develop together.
Each community is home to up to eight residents. Volunteer mentors also live on site and staff work during office hours.
The Communities were our first projects and are still at the heart of what we do. They focus on shared living between residents and volunteers, including:
- Shared responsibilities for household jobs like shopping, cooking and cleaning.
- Shared decision-making around managing their home and its finances.
Who lives at the communities?
See our volunteering page to find out how you can become a residential volunteer.
