Fifteen months after Covid-19 arrived in the UK the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh has convened eminent scientists to describe how they experienced and sought to overcome COVID-19; and suggest how to build a better 'new normal' and preprare for future pandemics.
Ewan Aitken, Cyrenians CEO, joins a panel of guests including Prof Mark Woolhouse, Prof Stephen Reicher, Prof Linda de Caestecker, Prof Ewen Harrison, Prof David Nabarro, Dr Nick Phin, Prof Sir Michael Marmot, Dr Vittal Katikireddi, Dr ELM Maeckelberghe and Prof Linda Bauld to discuss the ways in which we can take the learnings from Covid-19 to 'build back better'.
Discussing next steps, actions taken, the health inequalities brought to the forefront throughout the pandemic and more, this promises to be an enlightening and engaging discussion with experts across the health sector.
